In 2022 I produced original hand-drawn illustrations and maps for the book “Waterways and Means”. The book was written by Brian J. Goggin and finished by his family. It is for sale through Troubadour Books.
The book contains many historical texts and stories about inland and coastal waterways around Ireland. The client needed to illustrate the specific places that were being talked about in the book, using maps and drawings. There were no existing maps to show this clearly. I produced over 25 original illustrations and maps, which are used throughout the book. Some examples:
